School of Coffee’s Intermediate Barista class is designed for working baristas, coffee shop owners/managers, and anyone looking the sharpen their skills with espresso preparation. This 2 day course covers standard industry protocols relating to; preparing espresso, dialing in grinders, steaming milk, equipment maintenance routines, workflow, and latte art. Students will learn about coffee terroir, cultivation and processing methods, roasting methods and styles, and their impact on flavor and extraction.

*Note: this course is intended for students familiar with using an espresso machine. Please refer to our 1 day beginner course if you are new to espresso extraction.*
