Still writing that poem from a few years ago? Can’t seem to get the timing right on the punchline of your latest joke? Need some feedback on the short story you have been working away at? Join Rusty DeWees for a seven session Writing and Performance Workshop, hosted by Vermont Artisan Coffee & Tea Co.
This workshop is designed for newbies, amateurs, and professionals alike. Students will write a piece of their choosing; (comedic, dramatic, personal monologue, poetry, music, etc.), and work on the piece over the seven weekly sessions. Each student will have a weekly opportunity to workshop their piece, receiving non-critical direction, thoughts, and notes from the instructor. Over the length of the course students will continue to refine their piece, culminating in a final performance for family and friends.
Sessions will be held in Vermont Artisan’s “School of Coffee” classroom, with refreshments provided by Vermont Artisan Coffee & Tea Co. With the final performance to be held in the roasting shop.
All ages are welcome.
Semester runs weekly on Wednesday Nights from 6:30pm-8:30pm
